Team Vitality’s revamp of its League of Legends roster has evidently begun following a medicore 2022. The team’s ADC Matyáš “Carzzy” Orság revealed that the organization has allowed him to explore other options heading into the 2023 LEC Season. Vitality had big expectations this year after adding Luka “Perkz” Perković, but ultimately finished in the middle of the standings during both splits this season. While Carzzy is the first name on the chopping block, we expect more changes to the team’s roster in the coming months.
Carzzy’s stint with Vitality ends after only one year. The Czech ADC joined the organization in December last year as a part of Vitality’s superstar lineup. Previously, he made a name for himself in the Masters circuit before joining MAD Lions in the LEC. During his time with MAD, Carzzy emerged as one of Europe’s best ADC’s, which made him the perfect candidate for Vitality’s ambitions.
Sadly, Carzzy’s played well below expectations for the brunt of the season. Gameplay-wise, his builds and decision making at times left a lot to be desired. Statistically, he was among the worst ADC’s in both Splits when it came to his KDA and CSM. His worst attribute by far was the number of unecessary deaths, which led him to play catch-up in quite a few games. While the fault is not entirely on Carzzy, he did at times seem like the weakest link it Vitality’s roster.

Heading into the 2023 season, there is a strong possibility we might see Carzzy on another LEC team. With his experience and proven mechanical skill, teams might take a shot at him despite his form significantly falling off. As far as Vitality is concerned, Perkz has revealed on stream that the organization has allowed all of its players to explore other opportunities. The organization is evidently at a crossroads heading into next year, and it remains to be seen if we’ll even see them in the LEC next season.
